Scaffolding Towers – The Easy Solution
Scaffolding towers have bought the specialised skill of erecting scaffolding to the masses. Modern day aluminium scaffold towers are so simple and easy to put together that they are achievable by just one man and a 6m tower could be assembled in less than half an hour.
The scaffold towers have been simplified to such an extent that is virtually impossible to assemble them incorrectly which will give you great peace of mind when you're at the top of the eaves of your home. In most kits any of the parts that may be assembled incorrectly are more often than not colour-coded so that it is virtually impossible to get it wrong.
Many scaffold towers are assembled from the inside so it is very difficult to fall from them when putting them together. Guard rails are in place the whole time that you are assembling a tower and make falling very difficult. The platforms at the top of these towers have trapdoors in them so that you can easily access to them without having to precariously crawl around the outside of the construction to gain access to the safety of the platform at the top.
Once on the platform you're in a safe environment because there are handrails all-round and toe boards so that you cannot accidentally slip between the platform and the bottom rail of the hand rail.
Many of the new aluminum scaffold towers that are coming onto the market now a are made from the tubing that is far superior to the smooth tubing. If you're working on a tower in adverse weather conditions smooth tubes can be lethal as they are very easy to slip on. This new aluminium scaffolding has grooves in the tubing which gives excellent grip properties regardless of the weather conditions.
It's not only the assembling of the towers that is easy, it is also the dismantling of them which again is one man task. Dismantling a tower can be done in the same time that it takes to erect the tower in the first place. The tower is dismantled from within so like assembling it there is very little chance that of falling.
