Portable Carpet Shampoo Machines
These days everyone wants everything to be faster, easier, and simpler. We even want that kind of efficiency from our cleaning equipment. That is why there are such things as portable carpet shampoo machines. If you own your own carpet shampooer, then you know that they are kind of heavy and hard to carry around. Imagine if there was an easier way to treat a stain as soon as it happened and you did not have to get that big piece of equipment out. There is because of portable carpet shampooers.
These machines are small and easy to carry around. They only weigh a couple of pounds and they can fit under a cabinet or in a corner of your closet. These carpet cleaners are great for treating small stains because they can reach almost anywhere. I keep mine under a table in my family room where most of the carpet spills in my house happen. If one of the kids spills something then I only have to lean down and pull out m y little carpet steamer.
How you handle stains in your house could depend on your carpet shampooing methods. Since, I do a major carpet shampoo about once every three months with the big machine; I can get away with using the smaller machine for the little mishaps in between. If you do not clean your carpets regularly, then using a hand held carpet shampooer for small stains will end up making your carpet look splotchy. The rest of the carpet will continue to get dirty and dingy. Every time you clean a stain, that portion of the carpet will be clean and the surrounding area will not.
The hand held machines are a great temporary fix for stains and high traffic areas. They use the same kind of shampoo products as the larger machines, but just have a smaller capacity.
