Discount Curtains and window treatments are a great way to enhance your home. When putting up curtains for your windows it pays to know what you want beforehand and decide on the color of the curtains the measurements and how much light you wish to let through if any. There are many styles and designer curtains you can choose from but make sure you consider the surroundings and find curtains that will compliment that area.
Window treatments are a great way to show your own personal and individual style and let it show in your work there's nothing more satisfying than knowing you have created something that is uniquely you. You can either put your curtains on a single rod or you can have them on railings the choice is purely up to you, personally I find that having them on a wooden rod adds a little style but that's up to you. If you are going to use a rod you want to measure the rod to fit the top of the window ,if you want to cover the window completely than simply leave a little extra length of overhang so the curtain can cover both sides of the window, this will obviously effect the lighting that will enter the room.
Decide on how much coverage you want on the window frame or how much of the window frame you want to cover,you may want to show some of the window frame either on the side top or bottom, once again the choice is up to you. You will have a wide range of sizes and colors of curtains to choose from so make sure you get the measurements and color correct. What ever window treatment you are thinking of doing you can find most curtains or fabrics at discount prices if you let your fingers do the walking around by looking through your local directory, you are bound to find a bargain in your local area.
