If you are lover of wine, then you will appreciate that to truly enjoy it you need to drink it from a wine goblet. This means that you should take the time to get some wine goblets that you truly love. Everyone is different, so the type of goblet that you like to enjoy your wine out of will perhaps differ to that of your friends.
There are lots of different types of wine goblets out there. You can get them made from wood, glass or pewter. If you are really extravagant you might even get them made out of silver or gold. When you have your nice goblet, you just need some good wine to put in it. I find that with everything except glass goblets, the best wine is really the red sort.
My favorite grape has to by Shiraz. This has a lovely rich and velvety taste. The new world producers, especially Australia excel in the production of this type of wine. A real easy drinking, with or without food.
If you want something a bit lighter you will want to go for something like a malbec. You can even try this slightly chilled (not too much) on a hot summers day. Just stick it in a cool goblet like one made from metal and relax and enjoy the subtle tones of this fine grape.
If you like the fruit flavors in wine, there is none fruitier than Cabernet Sauvignon. I find that this goes well with a pizza, as the depth of the fruit offsets the alkaline taste of the cheese.
There are so many great wines out there to put in your favorite wine goblet, it’s all down to your personal taste and what you feel like drinking. Why not think about your wine pairings not only with the food your are eating, but also the goblet you are drinking it out of.
